Due to the charitable nature of a fellow media student, there was no need to spend ridiculous amounts on fabrics for a whole ensemble; instead, he allowed me to borrow four of his hand puppets. I like these ones more than my handmade monstrosity due to the fact that they look professional and are generally brighter and more interesting, and will contrast against either jet black or bleach white backgrounds: Standing out. Very much in key with my chosen genre of grunge-y rock/punk.
Additionally, actual human band members have materialised thanks to my advertisements and loud shouts throughout the atrium for volunteers who wish too star in a music video.
My first candidate had always been Summer Keeling: An experienced drama student and a reliable friend.
My intended candidate for the second role was to be George Mugglestone, another drama student. However, he could not re-schedule his auditions for the school play - and I had to resort to calling about the student atrium in order to get a willing actor - and instead of one, I got two: Which is great due to the fact that I'd made three masks for three performers to begin with. Their names are Dylan Price (Left) and Danny Johnston (Right) - and are considerably taller than Summer, which will add a more interesting dynamic whilst filming.
